Gary Short

Gary Short is an experienced contract manager with a career spanning over two decades in the energy sector. Currently, Gary serves as a Contract Manager at Ørsted, having previously held the title of Contract Administrator at DONG Energy. Notable past roles include working with BP as a Contracts Department member, where Gary focused on final accounts and contract close-outs for the SCPX project, and in Technip's Sub Contracts Department, overseeing the close-out works on various mechanical and civil packages. Gary has also contributed to the industry in various capacities at Petrofac, and BP Baku, among others, specializing in contract administration, quantity surveying, and change control. Gary holds an HND in Construction from Workington Poly, obtained in 1988.
