George Anatolakis is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with a strong background in soil mechanics and engineering seismology. Currently serving as a Geotechnical Engineer at Ørsted since July 2020, George previously held the position of Geotechnical Seismic Engineer at Arup from September 2016 to July 2020. Earlier experience includes a summer placement as an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer at GEOTER S.A DIDASKALOU, where extensive laboratory and field testing was conducted. George’s career began at the Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation, providing customer service as an operator. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology from Imperial College London and a Master's equivalent diploma in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
