Harriet Walsh

Harriet Walsh is currently a Senior Transmission Manager at Ørsted in the Americas region, where they provide transmission analysis for prospective wind and solar/storage developments and manage the interconnection process across the eastern interconnection. Previously, Harriet worked with UK Power Networks as a Power Systems Engineer and held various roles including Business Change Lead for the DERMS implementation programme and Program Manager for the Accelerated Loss of Mains change programme. Their earlier experience includes positions at EirGrid and internships at Glen Dimplex and Atlas Copco, where they contributed to product development and operational planning. Harriet earned a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from University College Dublin, graduating with a GPA of 3.72.
