Ian Newbold

Ian Newbold is an accomplished professional in the field of information security with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as IAM IPL Owner at Ørsted since October 2020, Ian previously worked as Associate Director of Security at NHS Digital and spent over 25 years at Carlsberg Group, ultimately holding the position of Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, Ian was responsible for security management across 150 markets and 41,000 employees, developing strategic security policies and leading global risk initiatives. Ian's background includes managing IT security teams, ensuring compliance with security policies, and overseeing IT service delivery.
