Kohei Amakusa

Kohei Amakusa has extensive experience in business development and energy infrastructure, currently serving as the Director and Head of APAC Business Development at Ørsted from February 2020 to July 2024, where responsibilities include leading offshore wind development opportunities and establishing regional business strategies. Prior roles at Ørsted also include Director positions in Commercial Management and Market Development in Japan, highlighting successful joint ventures for offshore wind projects. Previous experience at Mitsubishi Corporation involved managing investments in energy infrastructure projects across Asia, closing significant equity deals and leading business development for LNG export projects in the US. Kohei's educational background includes an MBA with a concentration in Finance from London Business School and a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business.
