Kohei Amakusa

Kohei Amakusa is a seasoned professional in energy infrastructure and business development, currently serving as Director and Head of APAC Business Development at Ørsted since February 2020, where responsibilities include leading offshore wind development in the APAC region and managing CPPA accounts. Prior to Ørsted, Kohei held various leadership roles at Mitsubishi Corporation from 2007 to 2020, including managing energy infrastructure investments and commercial management in Japan, and successfully closed significant LNG projects. Kohei's experience also includes positions at BBOXX, CDC Group plc, Chiyoda Corporation, and internships at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Academic qualifications include an MBA from London Business School, an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on International Relations from The University of Tokyo.
