Marcelo Figueiredo

Marcelo Figueiredo is an experienced professional in quality management and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) operations, currently serving as the Lead Project Risk Excellence Manager at Ørsted since May 2016. With a background in the offshore wind sector, Marcelo has held various leadership roles overseeing quality and HSE operations in multiple international projects, including the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind and Greater Changhua projects. Prior to Ørsted, Marcelo worked at Aker Solutions and Flex, where significant achievements included the implementation of a quality operating system and securing ISO 9001 certification for Brazil's first drilling riser manufacturing facility. Marcelo holds an MBA in Business Management from FGV and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Technology from Universidade Estadual Paulista. Additionally, technical training in Precision Mechanics was completed at SENAI.
