Marjolein Hormes

Marjolein Hormes serves as the Managing Director for the Borkum Riffgrund 3 and Godewind 3 offshore wind farms at Ørsted since August 2015, representing the company on the board. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Marjolein has held multiple senior roles at Ørsted, including Senior Director leading the Commercial team for Central Europe, where oversight includes operational and construction management for numerous wind farms across Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany. Previous positions at the organization include Managing Director for the Borssele 1&2 Offshore Wind Farm and various management roles focusing on asset and commercial management. Prior to Ørsted, Marjolein gained experience at Vattenfall and East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited, specializing in offshore wind projects. Educational qualifications include a Second Master Degree in Global Business & Stakeholders Management from Rotterdam School of Management and a Master Degree in International Business from Tilburg University, graduated with honors.
