Marla K.

Marla K. is an experienced leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Director of Development at Ørsted since March 2023, where the focus is on spearheading the development of over 200MW of solar, storage, and wind projects in the MISO market. Prior to this role, Marla held key positions at Oriden, contributing to the development of 20MW+ solar projects, and at Solar Energy International (SEI), where the development of a nonprofit fundraising program was established. Marla's career also includes significant contributions in commercial sales for Empowered Energy Systems and various permitting roles at Chevron. Marla holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State University and a Solar Professionals Certificate from SEI.
