Philip McMahon

Philip McMahon is a Senior Legal Counsel at Ørsted since 2021, contributing to the company recognized as the world's most sustainable energy developer. Prior to Ørsted, Philip was an Associate at Slaughter and May from 2014 to 2021, engaging in high-profile transactions and complex matters. Earlier experience includes working as a Trainee Solicitor at Slaughter and May, an Independent Publisher, and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Cambridge. Philip also served as a Law Tutor with The Law Tutors and a Guest Speaker at the College of Europe. Additional roles include a Legal Research Intern with the Irish Department of Jobs, a Vacation Scheme Student at Skadden, and a Summer Associate at Cleary Gottlieb. Philip holds an MA (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge, an LLM from BPP University, and an Advanced Award in French from Cambridge University Language Programme.
