René Boel Pedersen

René Boel Pedersen is a Senior Director and Head of Group Financial Risk at Ørsted, where they lead a department of approximately 30 colleagues, overseeing credit and liquidity risk, financial and construction commodity risk, and financial forecasting and reporting. Prior to this role, René worked at DONG Energy from 2011 to 2018, progressing from Analyst to Senior/Lead Risk Analyst and gaining valuable experience in compliance, reporting, and project management. René holds a Cand.oecon. degree from Aarhus University and a BSc. in Business Administration from Syddansk Universitet.
