KC Thompson has a diverse work experience. They started their career in 1997 as an Environmental Scientist at the State of Idaho, Oversight Program. They were responsible for environmental sampling and maintenance of monitoring equipment. In 1999, they moved to Bechtel Idaho as a Staff Engineer/Scientist, where they focused on various spectrometry techniques and troubleshooting. In 2004, Thompson joined ORTEC as the Director Americas Sales Manager, overseeing a sales portfolio of over $100M and consistently meeting or surpassing growth expectations.
KC Thompson attended Idaho State University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Physics. During their time at the university, they studied Physics and Health Physics.
