Daan Noorlander

Daan Noorlander has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and optimization. Daan started their career at KICI and Denc Netherlands B.V. as an intern. Daan then moved on to work at Shell as a Functional Analyst and Senior IT Consultant. After that, they worked at DSV as a Business Solutions Consultant. Daan also worked at Le Groupe La Poste as a Business Solutions Consultant and at Sundio Group as a Senior Project Manager. Daan'slong and successful tenure at ORTEC included roles such as Programme Manager Development, Project and Functional Manager, Expert Solutions Consultant & Architect, Senior Manager Solutions & Technology, and Senior Manager Global Development Services. Currently, they are serving as the Managing Director of ORTEC Optimization Technology. Throughout their career, Daan Noorlander demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, software design, revenue management, supply chain optimization, decision support, and process improvement. Daan has provided consulting services and developed tailor-made solutions for various companies, including TNT Express, La Poste, PostNL, DSV, Sundio Group, Thomas Cook, Staples, and Shell.

Daan Noorlander attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2015. In 2003, they began studying at the Delft University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Transportation Engineering and Logistics in 2006. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, Daan Noorlander earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
