Edgar Benschop

CMO at ORTEC

Edgar Benschop is the current Chief Marketing Officer at ORTEC. Prior to this, they spent over 15 years at Unilever Foodsolutions, where they served as Global Business Director. In this role, Edgar was responsible for the development and implementation of Unilever's global Premium Tea strategy, as well as the creation of a successful B2B e-commerce platform. Edgar also overseen the development and marketing of a new tea concept for different regions, and was instrumental in the integration of Australian tea brand T2 within Unilever.

Under Edgar's leadership, Unilever's tea business saw significant growth, with a turnover of 200 million Euros. Edgar is known for their ability to establish partnerships and create new business models and routes-to-market. Edgar's experience and expertise makes him a valuable asset to ORTEC, and they are playing a key role in the company's continued success.

Edgar Benschop studied economics at the University of Amsterdam, where they obtained a master's degree in marketing management and marketing research.
