Marieke Litjens

Marieke Litjens has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in human resources. Marieke is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at ORTEC, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Global HR Director at ORTEC from July 2018 to January 2024. Before joining ORTEC, Marieke worked at Deloitte Nederland, where they held the role of Manager HR Advies from March 2011 to January 2016. Prior to that, they were the HR Manager at Deloitte Audit from September 2006 to February 2011. Marieke also has experience as a (senior) HR adviseur at Deloitte Consulting from September 2000 to August 2006. Marieke began their career as a Searcher at Human Capital Group in September 1999 and then served as a Management Trainee at Disneyland Parijs from September 1997 to July 1998.

Marieke Litjens completed their education with a gymnasium degree from Elzendaal College Boxmeer in 1993. Marieke then pursued a BA degree in Hotel Management from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, which they completed in 1997. Later, in 1999, they obtained an MA in Managing Human Resources from the University of Bristol.
