Sridhar Durbhakula M.D.

Sridhar Durbhakula MD has a wealth of experience in the field of orthopedic surgery and healthcare administration. Sridhar currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Aligned Orthopedic Partners, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Managing Partner and President at OrthoBethesda, where they also worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2004. In 2021, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Surgical Specialty Center of the Mid-Atlantic. Sridhar has also served as the Co-Director at Washington Joint Institute since 2014. In addition, Dr. Durbhakula has founded and served as CEO of Orthopodesign, LLC since 2013. Sridhar has been involved in education and research as a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and received board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2005.

Sridhar Durbhakula MD completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University from 1990 to 1993. Sridhar then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, graduating between 1993 and 1997. Following that, Dr. Durbhakula engaged in an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at Albany Medical College, spanning from 1997 to 2003. In 2003 to 2004, they underwent a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Currently, Dr. Durbhakula is expected to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2021 to 2024.
