Sarah Witherspoon

Sarah Witherspoon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in healthcare administration. Sarah started their career as a Cashier at Chick-fil-A in 2007 before moving on to administrative roles at Carolinas Healthcare System and Future Healthcare Executives. In 2012, they joined Appalachian State University as a student while also working as an Administrative Intern at Carolinas Healthcare System. Sarah then interned at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014. Sarah later joined Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA) in 2016 as an Epic Patient Access Analyst before becoming a Senior Patient Access Analyst.

Most recently, Sarah joined OrthoCarolina in 2020 as a Project Manager. Sarah now serves as the Director of Business Optimization and Patient Access at OrthoCarolina. Throughout their career, Sarah has gained experience in patient access analysis, project management, and administration.

Sarah Witherspoon, MHA received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University in 2013. Sarah then went on to obtain their Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2015. In 2016, they obtained certifications in Cadence, Referrals, and Welcome from Epic.
