Hamish Thrum

Hamish Thrum is a commercially-minded healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience in scaling medtech businesses across the APAC region. Currently, Hamish serves as the Vice President for Southeast Asia at OIC International, where they focus on expanding orthopaedic trauma and custom 3D-printed implants. Previously, Hamish held the role of Senior Director of MiSight APAC at CooperVision, successfully establishing a team across seven countries. Their earlier career includes key positions at Johnson & Johnson and Smith & Nephew, where they managed multi-country portfolios and drove significant product launches in orthopaedics and sports medicine. Hamish holds a Master of Business Administration from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy, Sports Science, and Physiology from The University of Western Australia.
