Kathryn Smith

Kathryn Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and research. Kathryn currently holds the position of Senior Director of Marketing - US Orthopedics at Orthofix, a role they have been in since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Marketing - US Orthopedics at the same company from August 2022 to April 2023, and as the Director of Marketing - US Pediatric Orthopedics from August 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Orthofix, Kathryn worked at MedShape, Inc. as the Director of Marketing from June 2012 to August 2021, and as a Post-Doctoral Scientist from September 2010 to June 2012. Kathryn'searlier experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2006 to September 2010, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University from January 2005 to May 2006.

Kathryn Smith earned a B.S. in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2006. Kathryn then pursued a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010.
