John Urse, DO, FAOAO, is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon and senior partner at Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio Inc, with a career spanning from July 1987 to the present. Their expertise includes hip arthroscopy, arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgeries, and total joint replacements. John serves as a board member for the Ohio Orthopedic Society, where John contributes to the training and education of residents. Additionally, John holds the position of president at IGI, LLC, focusing on property management, and works as a technical consultant for Arthrex, specializing in gluteus medius tendon tears and regenerative therapies. As an associate clinical professor at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, John instructs medical students in musculoskeletal treatments. John's leadership experience includes serving as the past president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, where John worked for a decade to promote advancements in the field. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
