Catherine Mather

Catherine Mather is a Certified Surgical Technologist with extensive experience in various surgical environments, currently working at Orthopedic Associates of Hartford since January 2020, where significant contributions include the incorporation of a Total Joint Program at the Ambulatory Surgical Center and the development of Sterile Processing Skills. Previous roles include serving as a Tissue Donation Coordinator at New England Donor Services and specializing in orthopedic trauma, joint replacement, and complex joint revisions at Hartford Hospital, where Catherine also mentored new hires and precepted students. Earlier experience at Saint Francis Hospital involved aiding in a wide range of surgical specialties and continuing in preceptorship and mentorship roles. Catherine earned an Associate of Science in Surgical Technology from Manchester Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Western Governors University, expected to graduate in February 2024.
