Melissa Kandel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melissa started their career as a Paralegal at Jared N. Lyles, P.C. from November 2007 to March 2010. Melissa then worked as a Paralegal at Thomason, Hendrix, Harvey, Johnson & Mitchell, PLLC from April 2010 to April 2012. Melissa then joined MRI Interventions, Inc. as an Office Manager from April 2012 to August 2013, after which they became the Communications Manager at the same company from September 2013 to May 2015. Melissa later worked as a Law Office Administrator at Lewis, Thomason, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C. from July 2015 to August 2017. Melissa then served as a Branch Office Manager at McAngus Goudelock & Courie from August 2017 to June 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Marketing at OrthoSouth - Orthopedic Care, starting from June 2019. Throughout their career, Melissa has also worked as an Independent Consultant, primarily as a Copy Editor, from August 2007 to January 2019.
Melissa Kandel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from the University of Maine, where they studied between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued English studies at Troy University. Subsequently, Melissa attended the Washington Online Learning Institute from 2007 to 2008, earning a Master Paralegal Certificate. Lastly, they attended the University of Memphis from 2011 to 2013, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the field of Business.
