Sarah Woodford

Sarah Woodford, PT, DPT, is an experienced physical therapist currently working at OrthoVirginia since March 2025. Woodford has held similar roles at Optimal Performance and Physical Therapies from March 2022 to March 2025 and at OrthoVirginia from October 2019 to March 2022. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Woodford served as an Assistant Office Manager at Tallahassee Physical Therapy and Healthy Hosiery, where responsibilities included interacting with insurance companies and writing patient notes. Woodford gained valuable experience as an intern at Sport and Spine Rehab and The Jefferson, assisting patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, respectively. Additionally, early career roles as a swim counselor and instructor provided foundational skills in leadership and teaching. Woodford earned a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida State University.
