Nik Karbelnikoff is currently the VP of Operations at Orum. Prior to this, they were the Director of Hardware Innovation & Operations at Equinox Media from August 2018 to December 2019. In this role, Nik was responsible for leading the end-to-end development of a new at-home fitness product for SoulCycle and Equinox, which led to a $350M+ capital infusion to launch and scale the newly branded Variis platform.
Nik has also worked as the Director of Operations & Supply Chain at SoulCycle from August 2014 to September 2018, and as Operations at Ridgefield Bicycle Company from April 2013 to August 2014.
Throughout their career, Nik has developed extensive expertise in concept work and industrial design, prototyping, market testing, deep technical integrations between hardware and software, supply chain management, oversight of international production and manufacturing, operational protocols for market launch (including delivery, repair and customer support), and all related legal aspects (including extensive oversight of complex patent interpretations, vendor and partner contracts and legal coverage for overseas production).
Nik Karbelnikoff's educational career began at St. Andrew's School in Middletown, DE, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology. Nik then went on to Davidson College to complete their schooling.
