Shawn Buffum

Shawn Buffum has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Orville's Home Appliances since February 2023, following their previous role as General Manager from March 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, Shawn worked at Live Nation Entertainment as the Regional Director of Sales from May 2019 to March 2021. Shawn also held positions at The Buffalo News, where they served as Vice President of Marketing and Digital Advertising from March 2018 to May 2019, and as Advertising Director from September 2015 to April 2018. Shawn also held the position of Advertising Director at The Sun News from February 2017 to April 2018, and at WNY Pennysaver & News from August 2016 to April 2018. Additionally, they worked as the Local Major Accounts Advertising Manager at The Buffalo News from June 2013 to April 2015, and as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from February 2013 to June 2013. Before that, Shawn served as the Retail Advertising Director at The Plain Dealer from December 2011 to February 2013, and as the Key/Major Accounts Sales Manager from January 2008 to December 2011. Shawn began their career as an Advertising Sales Manager at The Buffalo News, where they worked from 2001 to 2008.

Shawn Buffum earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Canisius University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
