Antonio Romero has a wealth of experience in software engineering and data engineering. Antonio has been working in the field since 2005. From 2018 to present, they have been a Cofounder at Orvium, where they are responsible for the technical infrastructure and development of the platform, including its integration with the blockchain. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Software Data Engineer at Data:Lab Munich, where they created scalable software solutions and designed the core cloud infrastructure to support the data processing needs and the development of Artificial Intelligence products within Volkswagen. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Software Data Engineer at CERN, where they designed and developed scalable software solutions to support the data processing and analytics needs of the laboratory. Prior to this, they were a Software Developer and System Administrator at Grupo Lo Monaco from 2005 to 2011, where they developed a J2ME pull-push mobile application for the sales team to finance purchase orders from clients.

Antonio Romero received their Master in Software Development from Universidad de Granada between 2010 and 2014. Antonio also obtained several certifications, such as Exploratory Data Analysis from Coursera Verified Certificates in August 2014, Spring Core from SpringSource in July 2014, Getting and Cleaning Data from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2014, R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2014, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2014.
