It is a downstream oil and gas company located in Ras Laffan Industrial City in the State of Qatar. The company has expertise in the production of gas-to-liquids (GTL) products, operating within the energy and industry sector in Qatar. ORYX GTL’s has been producing high-quality GTL products, since 2006 by converting natural gas supplied from Qatar’s North Gas Field into synthetic gas, and ultimately into liquid hydrocarbons using innovative gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology – the Sasol Slurry Phase DistillateTM (Sasol SPDTM) Process. The final GTL products consist of ultra-low sulphur GTL Diesel used as a blending component in transport fuel, GTL Naphtha used as feedstock in petrochemical manufacturing, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), used as a heating fuel.
