Rehan Shami

Rehan Shami, AMIChemE, is an experienced chemical engineer currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at ORYX GTL since June 2023, focusing on Natural Gas to Liquid process optimization within the syngas and hydrogen production sectors. Prior to this role, Rehan worked at Air Products (JIGPC) for one year as a Plant Process Engineer, contributing to the operations of the world's largest integrated gasification and combined cycle facility. From January 2017 to June 2022, Rehan held a Process Engineer position at Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, specializing in ammonia and syngas processes, and served as a Process Support Engineer at Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited between July 2013 and December 2016, where responsibilities included monitoring the performance of the PTA plant. Rehan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, completed in 2013.
