Sebastian Waldburg is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and project finance. Currently serving as Managing Partner and Co-Founder at SI Capital Private Equity since September 2004 and Co-Founder at Oryx Impact since July 2019, Waldburg has successfully raised over €50 million for investments in technology, media, and regional industrial sectors. Previously, as Director at Grupo Financiero Riva y García, Waldburg established and managed the Private Equity division. Earlier career highlights include serving as Manager at J. Henry Schroder & Co Limited, focusing on project finance in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and as Country Head at SL Projekt und Katastrophenmanagement, managing humanitarian relief projects during the Balkan war. Academic credentials include an MBA from IESE Business School and a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology from SOAS University of London.
