Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri is the current CEO at Oryxnet. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Innovation & Business Development at KONGSBERG, where they led negotiations resulting in innovative joint ventures with technology solutions and investments in Qatar MENA Exclusive. Hamad also spearhead strategy formation & mapping resulting in triple digit growth using the kaizen philosophy, boost organization’s value by 15% with the procurement of over $7B of international business, and complete projects 10% under budget and 100% on time.

Al-Hajri has also founded and been a part of various other startups, including Oryxnet, Mshwar, and Confidential. As a serial entrepreneur, they have a wealth of experience in startup development, innovation, team building leadership, and international business. Hamad is also skilled in project life cycle planning, resources & logistics, budgeting & cost control, project controls, cash flow projection & management, risk & conflicts management, and kaizen.

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri has a research doctorate in entrepreneurial and small business operations from Kyoto University, an executive MBA in business administration and management from HEC Paris, a professional certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship from Stanford University, and an executives program in leadership from Qatar Leadership Center. Hamad has also completed a project accelerator in entrepreneurial and small business operations from San Francisco State University, a master of engineering in project management from Teesside University, and a bachelor of engineering in electromechanical instrumentation and maintenance technologies/technicians from Murdoch University. In addition, they have certification from the University of Cambridge in innovation in services, Georgetown University in public private partnership, SAP in innovation & entrepreneurship, and Duke University in finance & business fundamentals.
