Ethan Fann

Ethan Fann has had a varied career in software engineering and IT support. From 2014-2016, they worked as a Student Desktop Technician at the University of California, Merced. In 2016, they were promoted to Applications Programmer at the same institution. In 2017, they moved to The Linde Group, Inc. as a Desktop Support Consultant, where they provided technical support for both hardware and software at clients around the Bay Area. In 2018, they joined Atrium as a Software Engineer and IT Engineer, where they built full stack web applications in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails and managed a fleet of ~100 Windows and macOS endpoints. In 2020, they joined Forward as an IT Engineer, where they architected and developed an authentication flow for AWS AppStream2 with Cognito, Lambda, and Okta, managed a macOS fleet of ~150 with JAMF, and integrated APIs from internal IT business systems to create a custom analytics dashboard. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer, launching a Swift + SwiftUI iOS application which provides home screen widgets for cycling/running Strava activity and maintaining a GitHub repository. Ethan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Osano.

Ethan Fann obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Merced between 2011 and 2015. In October 2017, they became an Apple Certified Support Professional from Apple.
