Mohammed Shah

Mohammed Shah is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in internal controls and auditing, having held senior roles in various organizations including Rolls-Royce, Cadent Gas Limited, and Rentokil Initial. From January 2002 to June 2007, Mohammed served as a Junior Accountant with DARLASTON TAXSHOP LTD. Subsequent positions included Group Senior Internal Controls Manager at Rolls-Royce, where responsibilities encompassed leading internal controls for the Civil Aviation and Defense divisions. As the interim Group Head of Internal Controls at Cadent Gas, Mohammed directed efforts on IT and financial controls for a £12 billion group. In recent roles, including Group Head of Internal Controls at Rentokil Initial and Group Finance Head of First Line Risk and Assurance at OSB Group, Mohammed has focused on implementing standards such as SOX compliance and developing risk management frameworks. Mohammed holds a Master’s degree in Accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from De Montfort University, and is an ACCA qualified Chartered Accountant.
