Carles López has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Carles currently works as a Global Community Professor at Universidad de Monterrey, teaching new tools and technologies for fashion designers. Previously, they served as the Menswear Creative Director at Oscar de la Renta and as the Outerwear and Leather Design Director at MANGO. Carles also worked as a CLO3D Fashion Designer at CREATIVE OVERSEE and as the Menswear Manager at TREISS. Additionally, Carles López has worked as a Fashion Design Lecturer at IED Istituto Europeo di Design, a Fashion Consultancy for Menswear and Womenswear at Salsa, and the Head of Design Menswear at El Corte Inglés. Prior to that, they were a Senior Designer at GRUPO CORTEFIEL and operated their own atelier as the Senior Design Director at carlesLopez.
Carles López's education history begins in 1989 when they attended the Escola Arts i Tècniques de la Moda, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion, with a specialization in Knitwear. Carles also concurrently studied at the University of Southampton, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
