Daija Simpson is an experienced knitwear designer with a robust background in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a Knitwear Designer at Oscar de la Renta since August 2019, Daija has previously held positions such as Knitwear Designer at Knit Resort and Freelance Sweater & Knitwear Designer at Studium NY. Expertise includes applying knowledge of yarn quality and stitch techniques, and delivering comprehensive knitwear development materials. Daija has collaborated with notable clients including Michael Kors, Tory Burch, and Ralph Lauren. Additionally, Daija's career involved roles in quality control, design internships, and technical consultations, all contributing to a strong foundation in knitwear design, supported by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
