Osceola County Government
Eva Maria Pabon is a County Faculty member at the University of Florida since July 2015 and has held the position of Horticulture Program Assistant with Osceola County Government since February 2003. Pabon is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Global/International Education at the University of Central Florida, expected to complete in August 2027. Additionally, Pabon holds a Master of Arts in Global Sustainability with a specialization in Sustainable Tourism and Food Systems from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Pabon began an academic journey at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, earning foundational knowledge from 1991 to 1995.

Osceola County is a county rich in history and life. Created in 1887, Osceola County is a 1,506 square mile area that serves as the south/central boundary of the Central Florida greater metropolitan area. The city of Kissimmee, the county seat, is 18 miles due south of Orlando. Osceola's other incorporated city, St. Cloud, is 9 miles east of Kissimmee and approximately 45 miles west of the city of Melbourne on the Atlantic coast.
