Yasuhiro Matsuda

Yasuhiro Matsuda has an extensive engineering background, with significant experience in designing innovative database and search technologies. At Oscilar Inc since December 2021, Yasuhiro serves as an Engineer. Previously, at WePay from April 2016 to December 2021, Yasuhiro held the position of Distinguished Engineer, where Yasuhiro architected a distributed graph database and developed Waltz, a distributed write-ahead log for multi-region transaction consistency. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Confluent, where Yasuhiro designed Kafka Streams, and Software Engineer at FortyTwo Inc., responsible for architecting the Kifi search engine. Yasuhiro’s early career includes pivotal positions at LinkedIn, LogLogic, Oracle, and Digital Equipment Corporation Japan, contributing to advancements in distributed systems, search engines, and database technologies. Yasuhiro holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
