Alon Stern

Alon Stern, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Technology at Oscilloquartz SA, where Alon leads technological innovation in timing and synchronization solutions for the telecommunications industry. Alon has extensive experience as the owner of Stern Consulting since 2012, specializing in clocking and synchronization consultancy. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at Elbit Systems Ltd and Principal Engineer at RAD, where Alon focused on machine learning techniques for network anomaly detection. Alon has contributed significantly to the development of timing and synchronization algorithms, particularly for 5G networks, and actively participates in the International Telecommunication Union’s standardization efforts. Alon's career began at Impulse Dynamics as a software developer, and Alon holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, along with an M.Sc in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from the Technion.
