Alex Heid is an experienced professional currently serving as a Project Manager at OSD, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of the Alice Walton School of Medicine. Previous experience as a Managing Partner at Build Industrious LLC involved providing project management and development services for design-forward building and historical renovation projects. Additional roles include serving as an Adjunct Faculty/Affiliate Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota College of Design, as well as a Landscape Architect at Aune Fernandez Landscape Architects. As a cofounder of Landbase Ventures, Alex contributed to a think tank focused on community rebuilding. Early career experiences include positions at YMCA of the North, Living Greens Farm, Inc., and James Cook University. Alex holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota, a Graduate Certificate in Natural Resource Management from James Cook University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Carleton College.
