Andrew Irwin Frcs Orth

Andrew Irwin FRCS Orth(Ed) is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialization in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at One Stop Doctors Ltd since April 2017. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Spire Hospital, Harpenden, from September 1997 to May 2024, focusing on sports injuries and general joint issues of the upper limb. Andrew has also contributed as a Trainer/Interviewer for the North West London Deanery from September 2009 to September 2020, assessing trainees for career positions. Andrew's extensive surgical background includes being a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust from July 1997 to December 2019, and earlier roles as a Senior Registrar at RJAH Orthopaedic NHS Trust and a Registrar in Orthopaedics at Aberdeen Royal Hospitals. Andrew completed medical education at the University of Witswatersrand in Johannesburg, earning an MB BCh degree from 1978 to 1984, and has foundational education from St John's College and St Stithians College.
