OSF Innovation
Scott Barrows is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in innovation design, emergency medicine, and biomedical visualization. Since July 2015, Scott has been serving as the Director of the Innovation Design Lab at OSF Innovation. Concurrently, Scott holds roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, respectively. Additionally, Scott is affiliated with the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Bradley University, focusing on interactive media and user experience design. As President of Medical Art Associates since 1992, Scott leads initiatives in biomedical education and medical illustration, further complemented by past leadership roles in various healthcare diagnostics organizations. Scott's educational background includes degrees in Medical Art and Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago, among other institutions.
