Michael Joseph Punsalan

Michael Joseph Punsalan has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Michael Joseph currently serves as a Principal Analyst in the Credit Risk Division at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada. Prior to this, they worked at the BC Financial Services Authority, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Risk Analyst, Senior Risk & Financial Analyst, and Risk & Financial Analyst, all focused on credit risk in credit unions. Before that, they worked at Vancity, where they served as an Analyst Community Business, Account Manager, and Loans Administrator, specializing in commercial banking. Michael Joseph also gained experience as a Relief Cage Manager/Cage Supervisor at the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.

Michael Joseph Punsalan earned a Diploma of Technology in Financial Management (Accounting Option) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2003. Michael Joseph then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Accounting from the same institution in 2006.
