Sungchul Shin

Sungchul Shin is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in risk management and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as a Manager/Senior Analyst at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada since December 2015, Sungchul is the Canadian representative to the BCBS Quantitative Impact Study and Stress Test Working Groups. With a robust background that includes roles such as Senior Manager at the Canada Broadcasting Corporation Pension Plan, Manager/VP at TD Wealth Management, and Equity Research Analyst at TD Asset Management, Sungchul has demonstrated expertise in managing global investment portfolios and conducting quantitative equity research. Sungchul's education includes an MBA in Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Postgraduate certificate in Sustainability Studies from SOAS University of London, and a Post-MBA Certificate in Quantitative Finance from McGill University, among other qualifications.
