Yann Bernard currently serves as Directeur at the Bureau du surintendant des institutions financières since July 2021. Prior to this role, Yann was a Senior Advisor for Total Compensation at the Université d'Ottawa from May 2020 to June 2021 and held various positions at Aon, including Senior Consultant, Pension Consultant, and Pension Analyst from March 2008 to April 2020. Yann began a career in education as a Mathematics Teacher at École secondaire Hormsidas-Gamelin from September 2005 to March 2008. Yann holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics-Mathematics from the University of Ottawa (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics from the same institution (2005-2006).
