Emmelien ter Horst is an experienced educator specializing in visual arts and crafts, with a career spanning various institutions since 2008. Currently serving as a Docent Tekenen & Handvaardigheid at OSG De Meergronden since August 2015, Emmelien has also taught at SG Den Haag Zuid-West, where responsibilities included coordination of internal and social internships. Previous roles include teaching art history and visual arts at Veurs Lyceum and Scholengemeenschap Reigersbos, as well as a brief position at Roland Park Middle School in Baltimore. Emmelien holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the Willem de Kooning Academie and has pursued further training in pedagogical methods. Additional educational qualifications include studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MBO diploma in commercial communication.
