Marriet Wijma

Marriet Wijma has been a Docent Engels at OSG Singelland since 2011, teaching both lower and upper secondary classes in the Surhuisterveen location since the 2019-2020 academic year. Responsibilities include providing regular lessons, tutoring, mentoring students, and coordinating examination support across various educational tracks, including OOM, basis, kader, and TL/Havo. Prior experience includes working as a sales assistant at Leads Jeans & Fashion B.V. and Time Out Sport, as well as completing a teaching internship at CSG Liudger. Marriet holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in English from NHL Hogeschool and has obtained several certificates in effective classroom management, behavioral management, coaching, and other educational skills.
