Marquez Jaret

Marquez Jaret currently serves as a Special Government Employee (SGE) at the OSHA Safety Training Institute since August 2022, while also holding the position of TOP Coordinator at Valero Energy Corporation since August 1996. In the role of TOP Coordinator, Marquez oversees an investigation program focused on Process Safety and Occupational Safety incidents, which includes initiating and conducting investigations and ensuring the completion of formal corrective actions. Previous roles include Heavy Equipment Operator, where Marquez contributed to incident management and investigations for safety, and Pipefitter in the Maintenance and Construction Department. Additionally, Marquez coached at Maverick Boys & Girls Club from 2002 to 2010. Marquez's educational background includes studies at West Texas A&M University (1990-1992) and ongoing education at Amarillo College since 2000, along with completing high school at Dumas High School.
