Ilda Malile has a diverse work experience in various government organizations and the energy sector. PhD. Ilda started their career in 2011 as a Financial Advisor at the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority, where they played a key role in licensing, regulation, and supervision of non-banking financial markets. During their time there, they implemented the bonus malus methodology for the insurance market.

In 2014, Ilda became the Director General of Public Investments at the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship. In this role, they managed the portfolio of public investments across all sectors and created a public investments database that is still in use today.

From 2016 to 2017, Ilda served as the Director General of Public Debt at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. PhD. Ilda was responsible for negotiating favorable financing deals and reducing the cost of government borrowing. One of their notable achievements was introducing 7-year and 10-year bonds in foreign currency, reflecting the country's risk.

Currently, Ilda holds the position of Director of Business Development Department at OSHEE - Operatori i Shpërndarjes së Energjisë Elektrike, the largest state-owned power distribution operator in the country. PhD. Ilda manages multi-million euro financing investment projects in the energy sector, supported by international organizations such as the World Bank and KFW.

PhD. Ilda Malile completed their education starting from 1994 to 2015. PhD. Ilda obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tirana in 1998. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance & Banking System from the University of Tirana in 2002-2003. In 2006-2008, they earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same university. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled in the European University of Tirana and completed their PhD in Economics with a focus on Monetary Policies from 2011 to 2015.

Aside from their academic qualifications, PhD. Ilda Malile obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2018, they received a Certificate of Attendance for Executive Training on Investment Treaties and Arbitration for Government Officials from Columbia University in the City of New York. Furthermore, in 2019, they completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
