Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt is an experienced educator and technology leader currently serving as the Owner of NEW EdTech LLC since December 2023 and the Director of Technology at Oshkosh Area School District since July 2023. With over a decade of experience in online instruction as an Online Adjunct Instructor at Martin Luther College since June 2012, Jason specializes in technology integration in education. Previous roles include Executive Director at Cooperative Educational Service Agency 9, Instructional Technology Coach at Oconto Falls Public Schools, and Technology Director at Bennington Public Schools. Additionally, Jason has contributed as a QuickLearn Moderator for Mimio, and has experience teaching in various capacities, including as a 3-4 Teacher and Principal/Teacher at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and School and Christ the Lord Lutheran School, respectively. Jason holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Education from Martin Luther College.
