Caroline Niland

Caroline Niland currently serves as Associate General Counsel and Chief Litigation Counsel at Oshkosh Corporation, overseeing global litigation and providing strategic legal counsel to executive leadership while ensuring regulatory compliance. Previously, Caroline worked as Associate General Counsel for Litigation at JLG Industries, Inc., and as a Litigation Partner at Copeland, Stair, Valz & Lovell, LLP, where litigation experience included complex cases in both State and Federal Courts. Earlier career positions include Associate Attorney at Hood Law Firm, Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Roger M. Young, Sr. at the SC Judicial Department, and a variety of legal roles including Project Attorney at King & Spalding and Law Clerk for the U.S. Department of Energy. Caroline holds a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
