John Zucca has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. John started their career as a Technical Analyst Intern at JPMorgan Chase in 2014. John then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Honda R&D Americas, Inc from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they joined Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer III, where they were responsible for developing nuclear reactor and electric power distribution instrumentation and control systems. In 2021, they joined the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University as a Machine Learning Engineer and later became a Technical Manager in the same field. Currently, they work at Oshkosh Corporation as a Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence Lead Engineer in the Autonomous Vehicle division.

John Zucca earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2015. John then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2021.
