Frank Koudijs has a diverse work experience in the maritime and defense industries. Frank began their career in the Royal Netherlands Navy, where they served as an Operations Officer on various naval assets for almost 20 years. During this time, they specialized in air defense and also worked at the Royal Netherlands Navy software house.
In 2007, Koudijs transitioned to Thales, where they held several roles in business development, marketing, and product management. Frank focused on naval systems, including above water and under water systems, mission management systems, and naval services. Frank was responsible for creating new service business and service innovations, extending naval asset service life times, and establishing long term service agreements.
In 2019, Koudijs joined OSI Maritime Systems, where they currently serve as the Business Development Director for Europe, LATAM, and Key Account Manager yards. Prior to this role, they were the Business Development Director for Western Europe and the Key Account Manager for yards. Frank also served as the Key Account Manager for Western European, Black Sea, and SAF Navies and Shipyards.
Throughout their career, Koudijs has demonstrated a strong focus on business development, key account management, and fostering strategic partnerships within the maritime and defense industries.
Frank Koudijs has a diverse education history. Frank attended the Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Naval Officer with a focus on Operations. In 1992, they briefly studied Technische Bedrijfskunde at Eindhoven University of Technology. In 1993, they completed an Afstudeerproject at Human Factors TNO Soesterberg as part of their studies at KIM. In 2000, they attended a Management Course at the Netherlands Defence College. In 2011 and 2012, they participated in the Thales Topclass Marketing & Sales program at Thales University.
